The OKAO Bowl is the hot, build-your-own bowl created by THIRD HEARTH: choose 1 base (Rooibos Tea Rice, Greek Lemon & Bay Leaf Rice, greens, or an available half-and-half combination), 5 hot or cold sides, 1 sauce, 1 protein, 1 spark and 1 finish.
02How is it different from a healthy meal?
An OKAO Bowl is served hot, with warm rice, steam-roasted proteins and hot vegetables, plus refreshing cold sides. Every layer can be customised, or you can choose a chef-built Craft Fire bowl.
03How is it different from a poke bowl?
The OKAO Bowl centres on hot food: proteins and hot vegetables are steam-roasted to order and served with warm rice. You can still choose every layer or order a chef-built combination.
04How is it different from bento?
Both can be complete meals. With an OKAO Bowl, you can choose the base, protein, five sides, sauce, spark and finish—or keep it simple with a chef-built bowl.
05Do you offer plant-based options?
Yes. Plant-based choices include Seared Tofu & Mushroom and Thai Coconut Vegetable Soup. We also serve meat and seafood, so plant-based items are prepared in a shared kitchen.
06Why is it called an OKAO Bowl?
The name draws on European hearth cooking and the power bowl, adapted to Asian tastes. THIRD HEARTH created the name OKAO Bowl for this new category.
